*Eyes glaze over*

Here's a random pic of my notes from Stat Mech.... I was sitting there in class taking the notes and it made sense at the time, but then I looked at it later and I had so many arrows pointing in so many directions I was like "Do what now?"

Paper is Kewl

See my little potted plant? It's made entirely of paper. The whole thing is probably 2" tall. I have decided to take up quilling ;) My mom got me a cool little kit thingy for christmas that shows me how to make a bunch of plants. I finally got up the courage to try it out last night and made that plant (it took an embarassingly long amnt of time ;)) It's actually really cool, it's one of those things where you feel like you are doing nothing, but then when you look at it, it looks like something real. I was looking at the individual leaves as I glued them in, very closely looking at the whole thing, and it looked like a bunch of pieces of paper glued together *rolls eyes*
Then at one point I got up to get a drink and when I came back and saw it sitting there I was like "OMG! It's a little PLANT!!!" ;)
I'll probably feel compelled to post more pics of plants as I get around to making them. It's a nice little pass time... I need something to take my mind off of school... something ASIDE FROM my computer, that is ;)

The New Cam

I figured that I may as well introduce you to my new digital camera. Isn't it lovely? ;) (This pic was taken christmas eve, right after I opened it. I can't believe it took me this long to get around to posting it *rolls eyes*)
I have kinda decided to keep posting phonecam pics here for now, instead of switching to the newcam pics, but I might occasionally post some newcam pics here too if I have one that suits the mood :)

Yeah, it's been a while, but better late than never (at least I didn't put a post here about having a new years resolution to post more ;))
Look Mommy! The froggy is sleeping on his back!!!

What can I say, I'm just the type of gal that when I see a dead frog in an aquarium at a petstore, I gotta take a picture.
Nothing beats mom's old frog, though. Way back when we had an aquarium, we had a froggy. Poor little thing up and died and no one noticed... then one day one of us (can't remember who anymore) goes over to the aquarium, looks up real close and turns the light on. AHH!!! It was a disturbing sight - standing up against the edge of the aquarium, as though it was looking out, was the frog. Only as previously mentioned, the froggy had died.... and it had been a while since he had died, so he was nothing but a skeleton... it was cool as ever, I wish I had a pic, but unfortunately this was waaaaaaaaaay too long ago for me to have had a cam in effect ;)
(p.s. I cheated and posted this on Sat, but made it Fri's pic cuz that's when it was taken ;))

SaVe ThE tUrKeYz!!

There I was, innocently trying to prepare the Christmas turkey when I heard a knock at the door. When my sister answered, a tiny bald man with gi-normous glasses pushed his way into the house and ran into the kitchen.
"SAVE MY TURKEEEEEEEYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!" he yelled.
I turned to see what all the commotion was, and there was MOBY! He ran toward me and attempted to grab the turkey out of the sink. He hissed at me as I pushed him away, being sure that his hands never got near the turkey carcass.
"DUDE! Get over yourself, the turkey is DEAD, ok? It's been dead for MONTHS! Go find a live turkey to molest - one that isn't going to be my dinner!" I screamed
My words angered him. "But NOOOOO!!!! I think he's still BREATHING!! I CAN SAVE HIM!! HE IS MY SPECIAL FRIEND!!"
At that point I stopped and thought for a minute.
"Hey, wait a minute.... you've never been near this turkey before, have you?" I asked. I cringed as I thought that I may possibly have had my hands on a previously-focked Moby turkey.
"I HAVE MOLESTED ALLLLLLLLL THE BUTTERBALLS EAST OF THE MISSISSIPPI!! THEY ARE MY FEATHERED HAREM!!! THEY ARE ALL MIIIIIIIIINNNNNNNNNEEEEE!!" he howled.
Just then I glanced at the trashcan where the paper from the turkey was sitting at the top, clearly visible - PERDUE! I breathed a sigh of relief. "What about the PERDUE turkeys, Mo-boy? Have you gotten your filthy little... god knows what... all over THEM too?!"
"PERDUE?!" his countenance fell, "Sadly, I have only been able to recruit the Perdue's from the northeast for my harem... "
Once it was clear that my turkey hadn't been touched in any perverse ways, I was ready to FIGHT for my dinner.
In a fortunate bit of timing, it turns out that he attacked just moments after I put butter and olive oil all over the turkey.
As Moby reached for the slippery bird laying in the kitchen sink, I smacked his hands and slid the turkey across the kitchen and out of harms way. As moby ran for the turkey screaming "YOURE GOING TO HUUUUURT HIIIIIIIIIMMMMMMMMMM!!!", I tripped him and pushed him into the family room.
Both cats then jumped on him, clawing and biting, as Mom bashed him repeatedly with a broom. Finally, he jumped up, shook the cats off and ran screaming out the back door.
We all ran out after him, but he was nowhere to be seen.
I looked under the kitchen table and there was the turkey. I had to rinse it off, but fortunately, it was safe and sound - and is now in the oven cooking. :)
